Accompanied by brethren from the congregations throughout the state of Quintana Roo, souls decide to take the first step of obedience and descend into the baptismal font during a ceremony that joins the historic festivities marking the centennial celebration of the restoration of the early church.
The temple in Cancún, located in Region 231, was designated as the venue for this major event. Recognized as one of the largest temples in the state and the tallest in the city, it welcomed attendees for this significant celebration. In a jubilant atmosphere filled with unity, gratitude and full of conviction, the baptismal candidates raised their right hands before the attendees, who were witnesses to the commitment the candidates joyfully undertook to follow Christ.
This celebration serves as further proof that the Light of the World continues to grow daily in every place – finding Quintana Roo as fertile ground, where its doctrine has borne fruit and a living testimony to the unity, faith and fervor of a community that has served as a pillar of Christian principles and values
